Rebel For A Good Cause
Something different and delicious is happening at Rebel Pizza, 9-2188 McPhillips Street. It’s Rebels for a cause!
Offering dine-in or take-out, Rebel Pizza is an assembly line concept where you can choose how to build your own custom pizza. It’s your pizza, your rules.
“We want people to realize they are all rebels in their own way,” says Cory Gaudette, Owner, Rebel Pizza. “Being different and unique is what makes us who we are. We want people to be proud of their differences and not be afraid to be original.”
Rebel Pizza has partnered with the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba (CHFM) to select a child who represents the Little Rebel’s Spirit! They will have a signature pizza all their own and be featured in store alongside other Rebels.
“We chose CHFM as our partner because we love helping kids and we believe these children are true rebels,” says Cory. “Enduring illness at any magnitude but still smiling, being positive, persevering, and living life to the fullest makes these children special.”
From now until August 31st you can support the Children’s Hospital Foundation by purchasing Aiden Andersen’s Whiteout Supreme; White Sauce, Mozzarella, Rebel Blend Cheese and Parmesan Cheese.
Aiden is not only a frequent patient at Children’s Hospital, he has also been a remarkable ambassador, including a turn as the Champion Child in 2014-2015.
Aiden joins three local Rebels for a Cause on the menu; Olympian Sami Jo Small, NASCAR Driver Amber Balcaen and Comedian Big Daddy Tazz.
Every time one of the Rebels for a Cause pizzas is sold, Rebel Pizza will donate $.50 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.
Joining the Rebellion is a delicious way to help sick kids in Manitoba feel better.
“In our eyes at Rebel Pizza,” says Cory, “the children of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba are genuine Little Rebels!”
